Job Description
One of our clients in CO needs assistance with Anesthesiology locum tenens coverage.
Here are some of the details.
Location: 60 min. from Denver, CO
Facility: Hospital; 413 bed hospital, 22 OR
Practice Setting: Hospital Based, Inpatient, EMR-EPIC
Schedule: Weekend day shift 10 hours. Friday- Monday with option to add Tues. or Thurs. Weekend Night shift 14- hrs. in-house, no call, no call back.
Practice Details: 80% adult; Trauma 20%, 60 surgical cases per day (50% general / 10% neuro / 20% complex vascular / 20% complex ortho). Level 1 trauma rating. Must be able to perform Central Lines and must be comfortable doing PEDs.
Required Procedures: General anesthesia- adult and trauma, acute pain management, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, minor nerve blocks, central line, arterial line, local infiltration and ventilation mgmt. Level 1 trauma experience (2 years outside of residency). Neurosurgical cases - head and spine are both required. Must be able to do open vascular procedures, thoracic cases and open heart cases NOT required.
Certifications: Active license in CO or IMLC, Board Certified, ACLS, BLS, PALS/APLS- Required.
