Job Description
Our client in LA request assistance with Anesthesiology-Cardiothoracic locum tenens coverage.
Here are some of the details.
Location: South Central LA
Facility: Hospitals
Practice Setting: Outpatient; EMR-EPIC
Schedule: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
Practice Details: Supervision of APP’s, resident teaching required.
Procedures/Responsibilities: Perioperative echo certification with strong echo capability, able to assist surgical decisions for valve surgeries. 0% supervision, occasionally doing own cases. Must be comfortable with a variety of thoracic surgical cases, to include robot assistance. Echo experience or extensive structural heart case such as watchmen, PFO closures and mitraclip.
Certifications/Licenses: BC, licensed in LA or IMLC, and fellowship required. Fellowship or recent extensive cardiac capable of covering all cases, except LVAD and transplant.
