One of our clients in California needs assistance with Radiology-Interventional locum tenens coverage.
Here are some of the details.
Location: 45 minutes from Sacramento, CA
Facility: Hospital; General Acute Care Hospital.
Practice Setting: Inpatient Only. EMR-Cerner
Schedule: Dayshift; varies. Weekends and on-call required
Practice Details: 104 bed facility. Approx. 12-15 admissions per day, daily ED volume is 85-90 patients, approx. 4-6 procedures daily, CT's 12-15, X-rays 15-20, USs 8-12, MRI's 5-8 IR 4-6 procedures. Predominantly non-complex IR; Vast majority of exams are percutaneous (i.e. biopsies, drains, aspirations.) with some infrequent tunnels (i.e. pleurex catheter placement, CV Access)
Required Procedures: IR Procedures (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); CT/US Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Other), Barium studies, Lumbar punctures."
Certifications/License: Active CA license only, BC, BLS, DEA- Required. CA Fluoroscopy required.
