Practice Summary 

• Full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity 

• Located in Alexandria, Louisiana 

• Practice based at a leading acute-care regional referral hospital 

• Adult cardiac and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic procedures 

• Open and minimally invasive/robotic techniques welcomed 

• Participation in call rotation 

• Leadership role within the surgical service line 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform a full spectrum of cardiothoracic surgical procedures including coronary bypass, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic surgeries 

• Collaborate closely with cardiology, ICU, vascular surgery, and other service lines to ensure coordinated patient care 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development 

• Contribute to service-line growth and strategic planning 

• Mentor and collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals 

Qualifications 

• MD or DO with completed cardiothoracic surgery training (ACGME or equivalent) 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery 

• Active or eligible Louisiana medical license 

• Experience with adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures 

• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
